Looking for Christmas ideas? Bring to life a child's handprint or drawing with these DIY baubles. These lovely children”s baubles make a perfect gift for Christmas or tree decoration, but most of all, they are a beautiful memento that keeps coming out each year.
How do we do it?
We take your drawing and upload it to our software which magically traces your picture. We then send this file to our laser engraver that cuts the Christmas bauble shape and engraves the drawing. After a few finishing touches, we add a jute string ready to send to you.
How to order & personalise
The Message
In the Add Your Text Box at check out:
- Tell us what you would like it to say at the top
- Tell us what you would like it to say at the bottom
For drawings
- Take a white piece of paper, ideally no smaller than A5.
- Ask the child to draw a simple picture using a black felt tip pen or pencil. Only one colour must be used and no colour detail will come through on the bauble, it will only be the dark engraving colour as seen in the photos.
Our recommendation is to choose a single thing to draw such as Father Christmas, a snowman or a Christmas tree.
- Scan or take a photo of the drawing - please make sure it is well lit
- Attach to a message to us on Etsy (Please do not throw away your drawing, just in case we need you to take another photo)
For hand prints
- Create a handprint of your child’s hand. Please use white paper and a dark coloured ink pad or paint. (if using paint, please use paint sparingly so the detail of the hand print is clearer.
- Scan or take a photo of the handprint - please make sure it is well lit
- Attach to a message to us on Etsy (Please do not throw away your handprint, just in case we need you to take another photo)
This item is available for bulk order but we recommend you complete your order before 10 November to receive bulk baubles in time for December. Please get in touch for more information or support.
